It all begins with a desire to form a closer relationship with your pet.

I am an animal communicator and Reiki Master with a passion for animals. Animals generally have a lot to say, whether it’s to let their guardian know of their likes and dislikes, any pain or discomfort they may be suffering, or whether just to let their guardian know something funny! Animals can have a good sense of humour, and while recently walking my dog, and asking him whether he was enjoying his walk, I received the reply, “What do you think?”  I look forward to hearing from you and to opening the channels of communication between you and your beloved pet! I have found that animals are incredibly accepting of Reiki and really love receiving a calming reiki treatment.

As far back as I can remember, I have always loved animals, and according to my Mom, I caused my parents grief on my 3rd birthday when I disappeared out of our garden. Apparently somehow I climbed over our garden wall because I had seen a dog walking by and I followed the dog, across a road simply because I wanted to walk with the dog. 

Fortunately the dog backtracked which meant I got home safely. I grew up in a home with a dog, around 5 cats at one stage, but my desire was to always have my own dog. Eventually my soul mate dog, Abby, stepped into my life in 2001 and the rest as they say, is history! I was smitten with this gorgeous, intelligent, loving and kind girl! Sadly on the 23rd December 2015, Abby passed away, shattering my heart. 

I carried this grief and pain with me until the day I discovered animal communication and despite having being told after Abby passed away, that she is always with me, I was not able to take any comfort and remained distraught at losing her.

The start of my animal communication journey.

My animal communication journey started in December 2020 when I discovered an Animal Communication and Healing course which was to change my life and to finally bring me the peace and acceptance which was missing for so long after Abby passed away.

I have learnt so much and experienced so much since my journey as an animal communicator and healer started. I have had the privilege of chatting to dogs, cats, bunnies, birds and horses, and each one of them has had an interesting story to tell, some really funny, some really sad, some grumpy one’s not so willing to chat, and some who could not wait to have a chat and to ask that they be given more treats! One female dog was at great pains to tell me that she is the Lady of the house, and not her guardian! (The guardian did however dispute this.)

I have chatted to pets in Johannesburg, pets in Durban, pets in the UK and Germany, Mauritius, Italy and pets in and around Cape Town, and all of them have their own stories to tell! As a global citizen, I am looking forward to communicating with pets across the globe!

I am so excited to be able to see where my animal communication journey takes me!

My journey as a pet communicator and healer is entirely devoted to the memory of Abby, my soul mate dog.
